Oia Village [or "Apano Meria" ( In English "upper side")] is one of the smallest village in Santorini with a 1226 inhabitants , even if Oia is a small village but Oia is one of the famous sunset place in Santorini , but you need to arrive a few hours early to get a good places to enjoy the beautiful views.

• Akrotiri Archaeological Site

Akrotiri is a Minoan Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic Greek island of Santorini. The settlement was destroyed in the Theran eruption about 1627 BC . The site is so much historical to learn and know more about the culture just with 12USD  . If you are in Santorini you must see it.

• Skaros Rock

There are a lot of good castle in the world but there are just one Skaros Rock, You must visit this island cause This is the most important castle of Santorini , This castle is built to defend the island from the pirates in the 1200, the castle is close to Imerovigli, and also the castle offering amazing views , you must visit this island to know what I'm talking about , the castle open 24 hours every day.

Oia Village (How get in, Things To do )

Oia village or the great photographic village, is a very picturesque town . Oia is the best place in The Island to spend the day , to get in Oia is very easy thing you can easily reachable by bus from the central bus station in fira, the bus to the Oia is very inexpensive just 3USD , there as other way to get in if you are in a crew you can take the taxi it cost 22USD . I think the prices is very encouraging to get in easy .

The are a lot of things to do in Oia and one of them enjoy the sunsets like I say in the first, In Oia you can also exploring the town by meandering up and down paths and staircases. Along the way you will see interesting architecture and breathtaking views of the caldera , and I really love roaming in the village and shop in the stores.

Some Advices ...

Like all time before travel or tripping you should take precautions before going in your destination . Santorini is a great island to visit it but always you must take precaution to stay safe, If you will get in Oia preferable to wear travel boots or sandals and there are lots of stairs in the town as you walk around so...(you know what I mean ).

Be away from cats and dogs around town it is unlikely to hurt you but you must take attention and don't forget this is just for keep you safe.
